Macallan 52 Year Old 2018 Release

You did indeed read that right. This is a minimum of fifty-two-year-old bottle of Macallan single malt Scotch whisky. This whisky has been meticulously aged for more than 50 years, starting from a first-fill European oak sherry cask. It has been produced with a limited edition of 250 bottles. Amazingly rare product from the beloved Speyside distillery.

Tasting Note by The Producer	Nose: A tinge of spice greets the nose of wood vanillas. Rich body is achieved by combining earthy tones and ripe blackcurrants with a hint of peat in the background. Palate: Fudge, toffee, and sweet oak vanillas coat the palate. Subtle black peppercorns add a hint of warmth after orange peel and figs, along with a rich sweetness. Finish: The lengthy, slightly dry tongue coating is quite viscous because to the mild peat flavors.
